It’s April. A new month. A brand new quarter. Just like that, we’ve crossed into another season. Some of us made it here tired. Some made it with excitement. And others, with unanswered questions. But we’re all here. And being here means God still has a plan. We don’t need to understand it all—we just need to start again with Him.
We don’t carry March’s failures into April. We don’t carry old fear, shame, or regrets. Today is clean. And God is kind. Let’s start the month with prayer and trust. Let’s ask God to take over the days ahead and make them fruitful.
Bible Verse for Today
“The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; His mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness.” – Lamentations 3:22-23 (ESV)
Prayer:
Lord, thank You for the gift of April. Thank You for the chance to begin again. Thank You for every lesson, every mistake, every blessing, and even the things we didn’t understand in March. We put all of it in Your hands. We don’t want to carry what we were never meant to hold. This new month, we ask for new strength.
Father, we pray for peace in our hearts and clarity in our minds. For those of us who are tired, give us rest. For those waiting on answers, give direction. For those facing big decisions, speak clearly. We know You still lead, and You still speak. So, we’re listening. Lead us. Correct us. Bless us. Protect us.
We also ask that You bless our work, our school life, our home, and the plans we’ve made. Teach us to be wise. Help us to be organized. Show us how to be consistent and focused. We don’t want to just wish for a good month—we want to walk with You through each day. Take us one step at a time. And when we feel overwhelmed, remind us we don’t have to figure everything out—we just have to trust You.
Word of Encouragement for the Day:
You’re not late. You’re not behind. You’re exactly where God can reach you. Breathe. Trust Him. Start again. April is not just another month—it’s another chance.
