Some days, we wake up with questions in our hearts. Not the loud, complicated kind. Just quiet thoughts like Is God still listening or Am I doing enough But here’s something to hold onto today. You don’t need to strive to be seen by God. You’re already His. You’re already heard.
And this morning, we’re not coming to impress Him with long words in this prayer for April 11. We’re coming like children. Simple. Sincere. Sure that He is near.
Bible Verse for April 11
“The Lord is nigh unto all them that call upon him, to all that call upon him in truth.” – Psalm 145:18 (KJV)
Prayer for April 11
Father, this morning, we call upon You not from a place of perfection but from a place of honesty. You see our hearts already. So we don’t have to perform. We don’t have to pretend. We just come. Tired. Hopeful. Flawed. Grateful. We come.
We thank You, Lord, for being close. Even when we don’t feel it, You’re still here. Even when we drift, You don’t move. Thank You for loving us with the kind of love that holds steady in our worst moments. Thank You for mercy that doesn’t run out.
Today, we ask for peace. Not the fake one that comes from distractions but the real one that sits deep in our souls even when life gets loud. We ask for wisdom too. The kind that slows us down before we act and reminds us that You are in control.
God, help us remember that we don’t have to carry everything. Some things are Yours. So we hand over every anxiety, every deadline, every fear we’ve tried to manage alone. Remind us that You are bigger than whatever we’re facing.
We pray for strength. Not just physical strength but emotional stability, spiritual endurance, and a mind that is calm. Let our thoughts today be anchored in truth. Let our words build and not break. Let our actions point others to You.
And Lord, for the one who feels far, draw them close. Whisper something personal to them today. Show them again that You still speak. Let today not just be another Friday. Let it be a day full of Your presence.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Final Thoughts
There’s something healing about telling God the truth. You don’t need fancy language. Just sincerity. That’s what He wants. Today, if life feels too heavy or too fast, pause. Take a breath. God is near to all who call upon Him and that includes you. So call on Him. And expect Him to answer in ways that only a loving Father can.
Today, I woke up wondering how to go through the day. But knowing that God cares for me and He is near me is the absolute message I needed to hear.
Glory Halleluyah.
Hallelujah.
Never forget that Ijeoma. He is near you.
I feel led to say a word of prayer for you.
Father, I pray for your daughter Ijeoma that you show her how much you love her and how much you are available for her. Teach her to see you as everything she needs and would ever need. I ask in Jesus name. Amen.
Amen. Thank you soo much.
Amen.
