Prayer for April 15

Waiting does something to the soul. It stretches you in places you did not know could stretch. It quiets the noise of your own expectations and forces you to look deeper. Not everything happens the moment we ask for it. Some things take time, not because God is slow, but because He is wise. He is not operating by our clocks. His pace is steady, purposeful, and sometimes painfully silent.

Prayer for April 15

There are moments in life when everything in you wants to move, fix, or run. But what if stillness is where the strength grows? What if waiting is where the real work happens? This is not about being passive. It is about learning to wait without worry, to trust without timelines, to believe without needing evidence right away. That is what the prayer for April 15 is about.

Bible Verse for April 15

“But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles. They shall run, and not be weary. They shall walk, and not faint.”
Isaiah 40 verse 31

Prayer for April 15

Dear Lord,
I confess it is hard to wait. My heart wants answers quickly. My flesh wants results instantly. But You are not rushed. You are not pressured. You are not overwhelmed by time the way I am. So today, I ask You to teach me something deeper than just patience. Teach me to wait with grace.

Help me to stop measuring progress by how fast things change. Help me to stop panicking when I do not see signs. Remind me that You often do Your best work in silence. You refine, shape, and prepare us during the quiet seasons. When I do not know what to do next, show me how to rest in You. Let my confidence not be in how things look but in who You are.

When others are getting answers before me, help me not to compare. When the timeline stretches longer than I imagined, help me not to complain. Instead of giving in to frustration, help me to press into faith. Let the waiting build my endurance. Let it grow my character. Let it cleanse my heart from selfish desires and teach me how to want what You want.

I surrender the outcome to You, Father. If it takes a while, it is still worth it. If it takes a miracle, I know You can do it. I will not rush ahead of You. I will not drag behind You. I will wait with You, because I believe You are working even now.

In the name of Jesus,
Amen.
